What time do you open?
We’re open early: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Sundays. Breakfast is served all day, so there’s no rush to catch it. The banner at the top of this page shows live whether we’re open right now.
Do you serve breakfast all day?
Yes, the full English, eggs, pancakes and brunch dishes are on from open to close, alongside the lunch grills, jackets, sandwiches and salads. Fancy a fry-up at 3pm? That’s exactly the point.
Are there vegetarian and lighter options?
There are plenty: smashed avocado on toast, omelettes, veggie breakfasts, jacket potatoes, salads and cheese on toast among them, and the kitchen is happy to swap items on a breakfast.
Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
Cafe Brunch is a walk-in cafe, so just come in and grab a table, inside or out on the pavement. For a larger group it’s worth a quick call ahead on 020 8989 7059 so we can make room.

We’re at 40 High Street, Wanstead, London E11 2RJ, on the High Street and a short walk from Wanstead Underground on the Central line, with buses along the High Street and pay-and-display and car parks nearby. Directions and a map are just above.
How much is a full breakfast?
The all-day breakfast (egg, bacon, beans, sausage, mushrooms and hash browns with toast and a tea or coffee) is £11.00, and smashed avocado on toast with two poached eggs is £9.50. The full menu with all prices is on the board in store.
